Lower Airfares In October: Plan Your Next Trip And Save Big
Looking for a reason to book that dream getaway? Here’s some exciting news: airfare is set to become more affordable this October! Thanks to a drop in the fuel surcharge, passengers can now enjoy lower ticket prices, both for domestic and international flights.

The Civil Aeronautics Board (CAB) has announced that the fuel surcharge for flights in October will drop to Level 4—a welcome change from the current Level 5. For passengers, this means fuel surcharge fees for domestic flights will range from Php 117 to Php 342, while for international flights, the fees will be between Php 385.70 to Php 2,867.82.

Airlines have until the end of October to apply for the reduced surcharge rates. This reduction in fuel costs means that travelers can stretch their travel budget further, making it the perfect time to plan vacations, family reunions, or that spontaneous trip you’ve been daydreaming about!

To take advantage of these lower rates, start searching for flights now and lock in those cheaper fares. Don't forget to check with your airline for the exact breakdown of fuel surcharges.
