Tacandong is not just any newcomer; he’s a seasoned CPA with over 40 years in the industry, specializing in financial audit, due diligence, tax, and advisory services. He co-founded Reyes Tacandong & Co. (RT&Co.), where he is currently the Managing Partner and Chief Operating Officer. Under his leadership, RT&Co. has become a notable player in the auditing field, ranking fourth among auditing firms and second for firms working with listed companies, according to BusinessWorld’s 2023 issue of the Top 1000 Corporations.

Before his impressive tenure at RT&Co., Mr. Tacandong held key positions at SyCip Gorres Velayo & Co. (SGV&Co), serving as Partner, Chief Finance and Administrative Officer, and Head of Branches. His extensive background not only showcases his financial acumen but also his ability to lead and grow organizations.

Beyond his professional accolades, Mr. Tacandong is actively involved in various professional organizations, including the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) and several business associations. His contributions to the accounting profession have earned him numerous awards, including the prestigious 'Accountancy Centenary Award of Excellence' in 2023.
