In an emotional farewell post, the beloved host reflected on her nearly four-year journey, sharing heartfelt gratitude and a deep love for the scene that has become her second home.

“Walking Away is Never Easy”

Mara’s exit from MPL wasn’t a decision she made lightly. “Walking away from something you love is never easy,” she wrote, emphasizing how much MPL has meant to her—not just as a job, but as family.

Throughout her years in the league, she’s been at the heart of every major moment—announcing champions, witnessing crushing defeats, and celebrating the highs and lows that come with professional esports. “I have had the privilege of standing on that stage, watching dreams come true and feeling the heartbreak of those who fell short,” she shared.

A Tribute to the MPL Family

In her farewell message, Mara made sure to acknowledge everyone who played a role in her MPL journey—the players, the teams, the casters, and, of course, the passionate MLBB community.

“To the casters who brought the hype, to every player I interviewed, to all the teams who poured their hearts into every match, and to the incredible MLBB community—thank you. You made every game, every moment, feel larger than life,” she wrote.

She also expressed gratitude to the behind-the-scenes crew, from the production team to league operations, calling them the people who made MPL “feel like home.”

Not a Goodbye, Just a Respawn

While Mara may be stepping away from MPL, she made it clear that this isn’t the last time fans will see her. “This may be goodbye to MPL, but it’s not goodbye forever,” she assured.

She ended her message with a hopeful reminder that, just like in MLBB, every ending is simply an opportunity to respawn. “Keep it good vibes, everybody! …And I’ll see you next time!”
