'Mas Bulok Na Style Yan!' - Solon Slams Harry Roque's 'Drama' In The Hague

Looks like Harry Roque’s European escapade isn’t sitting well with everyone back home.

House Deputy Majority Leader Paolo Ortega V didn’t hold back when asked about Roque’s recent social media antics from The Hague, Netherlands. In a blunt statement on Monday, Ortega said what many have been thinking: “Style nila ‘yan — mas bulok!”

“Magaling sila sa ganun eh,” Ortega added, referring to Roque and his perceived deflection tactics. “Forte nila ‘yan. Lalo na siya — magaling magpalusot at mag-divert ng atensyon.”

Roque, the former presidential spokesperson under Duterte, has been noticeably active online lately — but not in the way many expected. Instead of addressing the serious allegations he's facing back in the Philippines, Roque has been posting vlogs from the Netherlands. In one of his latest videos dated April 7, he pointed fingers at the Marcos administration, accusing it of using the China issue as a smokescreen for the outrage over Duterte’s arrest.

But Ortega wasn’t buying it.

“Napansin n’yo ba, kapag China ang involved, tahimik sila? Pero pag may pagkakataong umatake sa gobyerno, go na go,” Ortega said. “Hindi sila nagsasalita pag West Philippine Sea na ang usapan. Pero ang bilis nila mag-defend sa China.”

And when asked whether Roque is ever planning to come home, Ortega just laughed it off. “Hindi pa uuwi siguro ‘yun. Baka nga hindi na bumalik,” he said.

Why? According to Ortega, Roque could be dodging some serious heat — like pending cases and a possible summons from Congress.

“Meron siyang mga kaso. May patawag pa siya sa Kongreso. Baka kaya andun siya — iniiwasan lahat ng ‘yan,” he added.

Roque has been cited in contempt by the House Quad Committee for ignoring subpoenas related to a probe on illegal POGOs. Lawmakers are now considering him a fugitive. He’s also tangled in a qualified human trafficking case linked to a shady POGO operation in Pampanga, raising even more questions about his activities.

Yet, despite the mounting issues, Roque keeps uploading videos, commenting on everything except what he’s being called out for.

Ortega didn’t mince words: “Tinatakbuhan nila ‘yung proseso. Tinatakbuhan nila ‘yung Kongreso. Tinatakbuhan nila ‘yung mga dapat nilang harapin.”

In short? While Roque's busy vlogging abroad, lawmakers say he’s got bigger things he should be addressing — preferably, in person.
