Another year, another billionaire ranking. Forbes Magazine just dropped its World’s Richest People for 2025, and once again, some of the biggest names in Philippine business have secured their spots.

While the list is slightly shorter than last year—down from 16 to 15 Filipino billionaires—it still showcases the country’s top tycoons, led by property mogul Manuel Villar, who remains the richest Filipino with a staggering $17.2 billion net worth.

Who’s Who in the Billionaire Circle?

Coming in at second place is ports and casino magnate Enrique Razon, with an estimated fortune of $10.9 billion. Meanwhile, San Miguel Corporation boss Ramon Ang secures the third spot with $3.7 billion to his name.

Longtime billionaire Lucio Tan follows in fourth place with $3 billion.

And, of course, the Sy siblings—heirs to the SM empire—each made the cut:
• Henry Sy Jr. – $2.3 billion
• Hans Sy – $2.2 billion
• Herbert Sy – $2.1 billion
• Harley Sy – $1.9 billion
• Teresita Sy-Coson – $1.9 billion
• Elizabeth Sy – $1.7 billion
• Rounding out the list are:
• Andrew Tan (Megaworld) – $1.6 billion
• Lucio Co (Puregold) – $1.4 billion
• Susan Co – $1.3 billion
• Tony Tan Caktiong (Jollibee) – $1.3 billion
• Eusebio Tanco – $1.2 billion

The Takeaway

While the number of Filipino billionaires on Forbes’ list shrank slightly this year, the country’s top tycoons continue to dominate their industries—whether it’s real estate, retail, banking, or fast food. With businesses expanding and investments growing, these names are likely to remain fixtures on the list for years to come.
