New Leadership At PLDT: Menardo Jimenez Jr. Steps Up As Executive VP And COO

Telecom giant PLDT has just announced the appointment of Menardo G. Jimenez, Jr. as its new Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer.
Jimenez is no stranger to the company. He’s been a key player in various leadership roles for years, most recently serving as Senior Vice President and Network Head. His deep experience within the organization, particularly in transforming the consumer business, has earned him this exciting new promotion.
Jimenez has worn many hats at PLDT. From 2019 to 2022, he led the Consumer Business Home division, driving growth for their home services, and even served as an advisor for the same business in 2022 and 2023. Earlier in his career, he headed the Business Transformation Office and oversaw human resources and retail operations, showing just how wide-ranging his expertise is.
An AB Economics graduate from the University of the Philippines, Jimenez's decades-long journey at PLDT has now brought him to the top tier of leadership.
His new role comes with big responsibilities, especially in an industry where technology and customer demands evolve rapidly. With his proven track record, many are excited to see how he'll steer PLDT's operations moving forward.
