In response to a recent incident involving a racist note on a customer's receipt, North Park has issued a formal apology and reiterated its commitment to inclusivity and respect. The statement comes after customer Michael Melvin Odoemene shared his experience at the Tomas Morato branch on May 8, detailing how he was targeted based on his racial background.

The incident occurred on April 30, 2024, when Odoemene and his friends dined at North Park. Following his meal, he received a receipt with a derogatory remark about his appearance written on it. Despite raising the issue with the assistant manager, Odoemene felt unsatisfied with the response provided.

North Park has since addressed the matter directly with Odoemene, offering apologies and assurances of measures to prevent similar situations. The restaurant emphasizes its dedication to customer satisfaction and reaffirms its commitment to core values of integrity, excellence, customer service, and teamwork.
