MANILA, March 14, 2025 – The Philippines isn’t holding back when it comes to North Korea’s recent missile tests. In a strong statement, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) condemned the ballistic missile launches carried out by the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK), calling them a direct threat to regional peace and stability.

“These provocative actions don’t just endanger security—they also undermine economic progress in the Korean Peninsula and the broader Indo-Pacific region,” the DFA said.

The Philippines has once again urged North Korea to stop these missile tests and respect international agreements, particularly UN Security Council resolutions. More importantly, Manila is calling on Pyongyang to choose diplomacy over aggression and engage in peaceful dialogue.

With tensions rising in the region, the world is watching how North Korea will respond. But for now, the Philippines is making it clear: missile launches are not the answer.
