Pope Francis' Health Update: Steady Progress, But Hospital Stay Continues
Pope Francis is making steady progress in his recovery, according to the latest update from the Holy See Press Office. On Saturday evening, March 15, the Vatican confirmed that the Pope’s condition remains stable as he continues receiving care at Rome's Gemelli Hospital.

The update shared some encouraging news—his reliance on non-invasive mechanical ventilation at night is decreasing, thanks to ongoing high-flow oxygen therapy. While he still needs hospital care, along with physiotherapy and respiratory therapy, doctors are seeing gradual improvements.

Despite his health challenges, Pope Francis spent his day as he usually does—with prayer, rest, and even some work. His Sunday Angelus will be distributed as usual, ensuring he remains connected with the faithful worldwide.

The Vatican plans to release the next official medical bulletin on Tuesday or Wednesday, but they will continue providing evening updates to keep everyone informed. For now, it looks like the Pope is on the right track, though he’s not out of the woods just yet.
