Looks like President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. isn’t slowing down as the year comes to a close. Late Friday afternoon, the Chief Executive received the printed copy of next year’s proposed national budget and immediately got down to business.

The President met with Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin, the Economic Cluster (including the Department of Finance, Department of Budget and Management, and the National Economic and Development Authority), and the Secretary of Public Works and Highways to carefully review the spending plan.

President Marcos Jr. emphasized the importance of wrapping things up before the year ends, showing his determination to keep the government’s priorities on track.
