Safe And Sound: 191 Pinoys Affected By California Wildfire Are In Good Condition, Says PH Consulate

The wildfire in California has been wreaking havoc for over a week now, and it’s been a tough time for everyone caught in its path. But here’s a bit of good news for our fellow kababayans.
According to Consul General Adelio Angelito Cruz of the Philippine Consulate General in Los Angeles, 191 Filipinos affected by the wildfire are thankfully in good condition.
The consulate isn’t stopping there, though. They’ve already reached out to the Office of Migrant Workers to make sure these Filipinos get the financial help they need. It’s heartening to see our officials stepping up to support our kababayans in need.
For anyone with family and friends in California, rest assured that the consulate is on top of things. Let’s keep them in our thoughts and prayers as they navigate through this challenging time.
