Trisha Tubu was on fire. Again.

The Farm Fresh spiker delivered another monster performance, powering her squad past Galeries Tower, 28-26, 17-25, 25-19, 25-17, in the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) All-Filipino Conference preliminaries at the Philsports Arena on Thursday.

Tubu, the left-handed scoring machine from Tarlac, shattered her own career-high with an eye-popping 33 points—one better than her previous best of 32 against Choco Mucho last April. But this time, there was no heartbreak. Unlike their five-set loss to the Flying Titans, Tubu’s dominance led to a decisive victory, keeping Farm Fresh’s playoff hopes alive.

And what a way to seal the deal. With the game on the line, Tubu unleashed back-to-back hammer blows to close out the match in one hour and 54 minutes, leaving the Highrisers scrambling for answers.

A Scoring Machine in Full Flight

Tubu wasn’t just racking up points—she was putting on a clinic. From thunderous spikes to pinpoint serves, she did it all. She even fired four aces, keeping Galeries Tower’s defense in constant disarray.

“She’s just built differently,” a fan commented on social media, and it’s hard to argue. The 5-foot-9 outside hitter has been making waves with her fearless attacking style, and this latest explosion only solidifies her status as one of the league’s brightest young stars.

Farm Fresh Gains Ground, Galeries Struggles Continue

With the win, Farm Fresh improves to a 4-4 record, tying Akari and ZUS Coffee at seventh place in the standings. Meanwhile, Galeries Tower is stuck in a rut at 1-7, with head coach Lerma Giron still searching for ways to turn things around.

Of course, Tubu didn’t do it alone. Alyssa Bertolano chipped in 11 points, Jolina Dela Cruz added 10, and Rizza Cruz contributed eight as the Foxies outgunned Galeries Tower in attacks, 57-42.

On the other side, the Highrisers had solid performances from Ysa Jimenez (15 points), Andrea Marzan (10), and France Ronquillo (9), but they simply couldn’t match Tubu’s relentless assault.

The Future Looks Bright

It’s becoming clear—Trisha Tubu isn’t just a rising star. She’s the real deal.

Her ability to break through tight defensive walls, read the game, and deliver in clutch moments makes her a nightmare for opponents. And with each game, she’s proving that she’s not just a top scorer but a future franchise player for Farm Fresh.

With Tubu leading the charge, the Foxies are a team no one can afford to underestimate.
