The groundbreaking partnership was officially sealed with a contract signing at UP Diliman, where Akari CEO Christopher Tiu shared his excitement about this huge step forward. "We want to create a world-class sports venue that doesn’t just meet the needs of UAAP athletes but also offers a space for families, students, and fans to enjoy and bond," Tiu said.

Scheduled to be completed just in time for UAAP Season 89, the arena will be located in Pasig City and is set to host most of the UAAP basketball and volleyball games. But that’s not all—it will also be open to other sports and events, making it a central hub for all things UAAP.
