Zelenskyy Mourns Victims Of Russian Missile Attack On Kyiv Children's Hospital

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy gave a solemn update today on the aftermath of the Russian missile attack on a children's hospital in Kyiv. The tragic incident has resulted in 38 fatalities, including four children.

"My condolences to all family and friends," Zelenskyy said, expressing deep sympathy for those affected by the attack.

The assault has left 190 people injured, with 64 of them receiving treatment in Kyiv hospitals. Additionally, 28 people have been hospitalized in Kryvyi Rih and six in Dnipro. In response to the attack, all patients from the "Okhmatdit" hospital have been transferred to other medical institutions for their safety and continued care.

Emergency rescue operations have been ongoing since the missiles struck, involving nearly 400 rescuers working tirelessly throughout the night. Zelenskyy extended his gratitude to all those involved in the rescue efforts and those providing care and support to the victims.

"We continue our work to increase the protection of our cities and communities from Russian terror," Zelenskyy stated, emphasizing the need for enhanced defensive measures. He expressed confidence in the global community's ability to support Ukraine in this endeavor, acknowledging the leaders who have shown support and are planning new steps to safeguard lives from further attacks.

The President concluded his address with a call for continued international cooperation and action to counter Russian aggression and protect innocent lives.
