Rico Blanco just dropped the official visualizer for Rivermaya’s classic hit “Kisapmata” on YouTube, and it’s already buzzing with excitement!

This release marks the second single from his highly anticipated solo album, where he’s reimagining some of his most beloved songs. Fans had eagerly awaited this project, and after the success of “You’ll Be Safe Here” in October 2023, they voted for “Kisapmata” over “Elesi” in an online poll.

But there’s a touching twist in the video’s description that has caught everyone’s attention. Rico took a moment to thank all the amazing people behind the release, including a special nod to his ex, Maris Racal, who played a crucial role as the telecaster for the music video.

In a recent interview, Maris opened up about their breakup, describing it as the “loneliest, emptiest weeks” she has ever experienced. Despite the heartache, it’s clear that there’s still mutual respect and admiration between the two, as evidenced by Rico’s heartfelt acknowledgment.
