Rico Blanco, the legendary Filipino musician, has more than just music up his sleeve! After eight years of dreaming and planning, he’s finally opened the doors to Motel Mambo, his very own hotel in La Union. And in true Rico Blanco fashion, the grand opening was nothing short of star-studded and heartfelt.

In a recent Instagram post, Rico shared his excitement, writing, “Such a joy and honour to host pinoy music royalty in @motelmambo.” The post featured the likes of Zild Benitez, Blaster Silonga, Shaira Luna, and more, who all gathered to celebrate and unwind in this new slice of paradise.

“This La Union hotel has been a dream that took me 8 years to fulfill,” Rico continued. “I’m so blessed and thankful to have talented, hardworking, and fun artist friends taking a much-deserved break, unwinding and recharging with me on my first time back since our doors officially opened.”

From the looks of it, Motel Mambo isn’t just a place to stay; it’s a creative haven where memories are made. Rico’s shoutout to his friends, including Agnes Reoma, BINI’s Maloi, and Joshua Caleb Lua, showed just how special this project is to him.

For those heading to La Union, Motel Mambo is shaping up to be more than just a destination—it's a vibe, a dream realized by one of the Philippines’ most beloved music icons. So, if you’re in the area, why not check it out and maybe even bump into a few familiar faces?
