SB19, BINI, Lola Amour Lead The Charge At The 37th Awit Awards Nominations

Hey music fans! The buzz is real as the 37th Awit Awards nominations have just dropped, and it's looking like a showdown of epic proportions. With the final nominees revealed on August 16, this year’s list is jam-packed with talent across more than 30 categories, celebrating the best of Filipino music. Let’s dive into the highlights!

Leading the pack with a whopping 12 nominations is none other than the kings of P-pop, SB19. Their album *PAGTATAG!* is in the running for Album of the Year, while their hit single "GENTO" is a serious contender with nods for Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Performance By A Group, Best Dance Electronic Recording, Best Pop Recording, and Best Music Video. Talk about a sweep!

Hot on their heels are BINI with seven nominations. Their breakout track “Pantropiko” has them vying for Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Performance By A Group, Best Pop Recording, and Best Engineered Recording. And let’s not forget “Karera,” which is up for Best Inspirational Recording and Best Music Video. Impressive!

Lola Amour also snagged seven nominations, all for their viral smash "Raining In Manila." The track is in the running for Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Performance By A Group, Best Alternative Recording, and Best Pop Recording. Plus, their remix by DJ Young is up for Best Remix Recording, and their parodied version "Waiting Here Sa Pila" with Michael V is nominated for Best Novelty Recording. Clearly, they’re making waves!

But the excitement doesn’t stop there. Other notable nominees this year include Cup of Joe, Juan Karlos, One Click Straight, Maki, Unique Salonga, and Sunkissed Lola, among others.
