Senator Bong Go has spoken out in response to the recent affidavit and statements made by Col. Royina Garma during a Quadcomm hearing, calling them a diversionary tactic to obscure the real issue—her alleged involvement in a murder plot.

In a firm statement, Sen. Go expressed his concern about the allegations, dismissing Garma's statements as "malicious and unsubstantiated." He emphasized that such accusations should have no place in any serious investigation. "These are clear diversionary tactics to muddle the true issue she is facing – her participation in an alleged murder plot," the senator said.

Sen. Go didn’t mince words when it came to the need for transparency and accountability, encouraging the Senate to initiate an impartial investigation into the matter. "I've always said that the public deserves to know the truth. Let's stick to what's right and accurate," he added.

Despite being known for his focus on public service, Sen. Go made it clear that he would not allow his name to be tarnished by baseless accusations. "You all know me. I prefer to work and serve my fellow Filipinos. But if my own name is being dragged through the mud, I won't stand for it."
