In the wake of a pre-dawn police operation on August 24, 2024, at the Kingdom of Jesus Christ compound in Davao City, Senator Bong Go expressed his heartfelt condolences to the families of those who lost their lives or were injured during the raid.

"Ako ay taus-pusong nakikiramay sa pamilya ng mga namatay at nasaktan," Go stated, emphasizing the importance of preserving every Filipino life.

While acknowledging the police's duty to enforce the law, Go condemned the violence that occurred. "Full support ako sa ating uniformed personnel basta gawin niyo lang po ang inyong trabaho nang tama. Protect the people! Huwag naman overkill," he urged, particularly in sensitive locations like places of worship.

Reflecting on the tragic outcome, Go questioned the need for such force, which resulted in the loss of two lives and injuries to others. As the vice chairperson of the Senate Committee on Public Order, he reiterated the importance of professionalism and adherence to the law in the police force.

"My consistent appeal to the PNP is for our police force to remain professional by doing your duty in accordance with the law and in a manner that fulfills your mandate to serve and protect every Filipino,"

Go stressed, urging law enforcement to protect lives without any hint of abuse or political influence.
