Shining Stars: Nadine Lustre, Baron Geisler, And More Triumph At 39th PMPC Star Awards For Movies

It was a glittering night at the Winford Hotel and Casino in Manila as the 39th Philippine Movie Press Club (PMPC) Star Awards for Movies celebrated the best of Filipino cinema.

Leading the pack was Nadine Lustre, who took home her 7th Best Actress award for her role in the horror-thriller Deleter. The multi-awarded actress continues to prove her versatility and dominance in the industry.

Baron Geisler claimed the Best Actor title for his powerful performance in Dollhouse, marking another high point in his storied career.

The supporting categories were just as thrilling, with Dimples Romana winning Best Supporting Actress for My Father, Myself and Mon Confiado taking the Best Supporting Actor title for Nanahimik ang Gabi.

For the coveted Movie of the Year honor, it was a tie. Family Matters and Mamasapano shared the spotlight, with their respective directors, Nuel Naval and Lester Dimaranan, also taking home the Movie Director of the Year award.
