Solicitor General To File Petition For Cancellation Of Suspended Mayor Alice Guo's Birth Certificate

The Office of the Solicitor General (OSG) is set to file a petition today to cancel the Certificate of Live Birth of suspended Mayor Alice Leal Guo. According to Solicitor General Menardo Guevarra, the petition is based on Guo's alleged failure to comply with the legal requirements for late registration.
Guevarra explained that this action aims to establish a foundation for a subsequent petition for quo warranto. “Today, the OSG will file a petition for the cancellation of the Certificate of Live Birth of Alice Leal Guo on the grounds, among others, of failure to comply with the legal requirements for late registration,” Guevarra stated.
