Grethcel Soltones has officially inked a deal with Akari for the upcoming 2024 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) season.
The 28-year-old spiker, known for her dynamic playing style and powerful attacks, leaves behind a three-season legacy with Petro Gazz, having played a pivotal role in the team's triumphs.
Soltones, a product of San Sebastian, showcased her prowess during her tenure with Petro Gazz, notably contributing to the squad's 2022 Reinforced Conference championship victory. Her on-court brilliance also played a crucial role in securing silver medals for the team in both the 2022 Open Conference and the 2023 First All-Filipino Conference.
Soltones is poised to become a vital component of the Chargers' core lineup. She joins forces with an impressive roster, including notable players such as Dindin Santiago-Manabat, Faith Nisperos, Fifi Sharma, Erika Raagas, and Michelle Cobb.
