TikToker Abby Domer Salle recently returned to social media and revealed a truly terrifying experience she went through. In a heartfelt Facebook post, she opened up about being kidnapped and harassed, an ordeal that left her and her family deeply traumatized.

Abby was kidnapped by three men who thought she had a lot of money. They threatened her life, demanding ransom from her family. They took her to a remote, abandoned house and kept her there for a whole day. Each time they made her talk to her family via video call, they held a cutter to her side, making sure she couldn’t say anything that might alert them to her situation. They even showed her a sharpened machete, sending a clear message of what could happen if their demands weren’t met.
Throughout the ordeal, Abby leaned heavily on her faith, praying constantly. She feared not just for herself but also for her family, who were equally traumatized by the events. Miraculously, with the help of her friends, the ransom was paid, and she was released unharmed. Despite losing her phone and the money, Abby is grateful to be alive and able to continue spreading joy through her content.
Abby’s story comes at a time when the number of kidnapping cases in the Philippines has seen a significant decrease. According to the Philippine National Police Anti-Kidnapping Group (PNP-AKG), there has been a 31 percent drop in kidnapping incidents from January to May this year. This decline reflects ongoing efforts to combat such crimes, but Abby’s experience highlights the enduring risks and emotional toll of these harrowing events.
