In a coordinated effort between the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) and local authorities, the Tranvia Travel Agency in Quezon City was shuttered for engaging in illegal recruitment activities, promising bogus job opportunities in Poland to unsuspecting Filipino workers.

The DMW, assisted by the Migrant Workers Protection Bureau (MWPB), uncovered Tranvia Travel's fraudulent operations, which preyed on applicants through social media platforms and charged exorbitant processing fees.

This crackdown marks the fourth closure operation by the DMW aimed at protecting Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) and thwarting illegal recruiters. Victims are urged to come forward and seek justice through the MWPB.
