Former Senator Antonio Trillanes IV said that former President Rodrigo Duterte's potential arrest could mirror that of former Negros Oriental Congressman Arnolfo "Arnie" Teves Jr..

Trillanes underscored that such actions are obligations of Interpol member states like the Philippines. He highlighted the swift response of Timor Leste authorities to the Interpol-issued "red notice" for Teves, illustrating how they promptly executed the warrant without questioning its validity.
