President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. announced the 12 senatorial candidates for the Alyansa Para sa Bagong Pilipinas during a convention at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) in Pasay City. The coalition is currently the largest political alliance in the country.

“People often say elections divide us, sowing conflict and disunity. But what our alliance is launching is the complete opposite. This is a people’s movement that unites the strongest forces who love our country… bringing together 12 outstanding Filipinos with the dedication and skills to lead,” President Marcos said in his speech.

He emphasized the values guiding his endorsement: “Tangan ang prinsipyong makatao, maka-Diyos, makabansa... Sa aking pag-endorso, ang tanging hiling ko ay mapanatili ang kanilang katapatan at pagmamahal sa bansa,” (They carry the principles of humanity, Godliness, and nationalism... In endorsing them, my only request is that they maintain their loyalty and love for the country).

The President introduced the following candidates for the May 2025 elections under the administration’s "Alyansa Para sa Bagong Pilipinas":

Deputy Speaker of the House Camille Villar
ACT-CIS partylist representative Erwin Tulfo

President Marcos expressed confidence in the team’s capability: “Each of us has our own skills to improve the country, but when we come together, united, we can more easily achieve our goals for a better future.”

The President encouraged the nation to rally behind the Alyansa candidates: "These are the leaders of the Alyansa. With their quality and experience, I have full confidence that they will be our partners in advancing and developing our country. Let’s support and stand with them."

Alyansa Para sa Bagong Pilipinas is composed of five of the nation's leading political parties: Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP), Lakas-Christian Muslim Democrats (CMD), Nationalist People’s Coalition (NPC), Nacionalista Party (NP), and National Unity Party (NUP). Together, they are pushing for unity and a commitment to progress, addressing the urgent needs of every Filipino.
