In a recent post, vlogger Rosmar made a personal and heartfelt announcement—she’s officially withdrawing her candidacy for Manila councilor. While her decision may have caught some by surprise, it’s clear she has put a lot of thought into it.

“Wala talaga sa puso ko ang pamumulitika,” she shared, explaining that politics was never really her thing. She initially ran as an independent candidate, motivated by the idea that having a position might give her the resources to help more people. However, as time passed, she began to question whether that was truly the right path for her.

Many political parties had approached her, especially those running for mayor, but she never agreed to join any of them. Rosmar felt that going solo was more in line with her values, but she soon realized that the political scene wasn’t what she had imagined.

She revealed that while campaigning, she found it painful not being able to help those who reached out to her because of strict election regulations. "Masyado na napasukan ng pulitika ang pag tulong ko sa mga tao na sinimulan ko nung ako’y bata pa," she reflected. The feeling of not being able to assist someone in need was overwhelming, and she recognized that helping from the heart was far more fulfilling than being involved in politics.

Rosmar’s decision to withdraw from the race wasn’t easy, especially after receiving so much support from her followers and family. But as she expressed, true help comes from the heart—without any strings attached.

With a new chapter unfolding in her life, as she's now three months pregnant with her third child, Rosmar assured everyone that while her political journey may be over, her commitment to helping others continues. "Pag takbo ko lang ang ititigil ko pero hindi ang pagtulong sa mga tao," she said, emphasizing that she would always find ways to assist those in need.

She ended her post with a lighthearted note for her bashers, saying she could now respond to their comments with a wink and a smile, showing that despite everything, she remains focused on her purpose: to give from the heart.

"Thank you to everyone who trusted me in such a short time. This is just not for me, but my journey to help others will never stop. I’ll continue helping people with love and sincerity."
