VP Sara Duterte: 'It's Not A Joke, It's Not A Bomb Threat'

Vice President Sara Duterte has clarified her recent remarks about being the "designated survivor" and her decision not to attend this year's State of the Nation Address (SONA).
During an earlier interview, Duterte mentioned she wouldn't be present at the July 22 SONA because she had designated herself as the "designated survivor." This sparked various reactions and confusion among the public.
In her statement, she emphasized, "I've never seen a Vice President whose attendance is sought at every single event. That wasn't a joke, nor was it a bomb threat. I think many missed the point. So, for me, if you didn't understand it the first time, I don't think you deserve an explanation."
