Actress Yasmien Kurdi is no stranger to fighting battles, but this time, she’s standing up for the most important person in her life—her 12-year-old daughter, Ayesha.

On December 11, Yasmien took to Facebook to share a heartbreaking incident that happened to Ayesha at school, where she was ganged up on and blocked from leaving her classroom by 7-9 students. The reason? Ayesha couldn’t keep up with group messages about their upcoming Christmas party while her family was out of the country.

“I’m so sorry, Ayesha,” Yasmien wrote. “You have to go through all of this because I am your mom. But I will always be here for you. I will protect you with all my life. You are beautiful inside and out. 馃挃”

Yasmien explained that her daughter’s recent vacation was meant to help Ayesha recover from stress after another disturbing experience—being filmed without consent by a classmate. That incident left her feeling anxious and paranoid. Unfortunately, the break didn’t prevent the bullying from escalating.

“She has been enduring this type of bullying since grade 2,” Yasmien revealed. “Alarmingly, this has led to the creation of an online ‘AYESHA HATE CLUB’ targeting her.”

The actress went on to express frustration that some of the same students behind past incidents are still in her daughter’s class. She also criticized how the parents of the bullies seemed to twist the story, calling it a “regular student meeting” while questioning Ayesha’s behavior instead.

“Mind you, these are mostly girls, if not all,” Yasmien added. “Gusto mo ba gawin ito sa anak mong babae?”

Yasmien’s post has struck a nerve with parents and netizens alike, many of whom praised her for speaking up. Bullying, especially when it becomes systemic and online, has been a growing issue among younger students. Yasmien’s message is clear: no child deserves to be treated this way, and she won’t let her daughter face this alone.

The actress’s fierce words serve as both a call for accountability and a reminder to fellow parents—our kids need us to listen, protect, and stand by them.
