Zuleika Lopez Held In Contempt By House Committee

The Office of the Vice President's (OVP) Chief of Staff, Zuleika Lopez, is facing a contempt order from the House Committee on Good Government and Public Accountability.

This decision came after Lopez reportedly failed to provide sufficient answers to lawmakers’ questions during a hearing on the use of confidential funds. The committee members cited non-compliance with directives as the primary reason for the order.
