ABS-CBN signs off following NTC order
At 7:52pm of May 5, 2020, ABS-CBN went off the air after the National Telecommunications Commission ordered the broadcast giant to cease and desist their television and radio broadcasting operations.
Before signing off, ABS-CBN President and CEO Carlo Katigbak and its Chairman Mark Lopez said in a televised message that they will not be silenced and appealed for the public’s support.
