The Market on Wheels program of Naga City, Camarines Sur will continue even under the Modified General Community Quarantine (MGCQ).

Naga City Market Enterprise and Promotions Office Head Ramon Florendo said the Market on Wheels will open only on Fridays and Saturdays. Finalized venues and daily schedules in each barangay will be announced by Punong Barangays.

Florendo said they continued the program for several weeks during the Enhanced Community Quarantine because of the demand by residents especially in the far-flung areas of Naga.

The program started last March 28 with the aim of bringing food markets closer to Barangays and to reduce the number of people going to Naga City Public Market during the ECQ and General Community Quarantine (GCQ).

The Market on Wheels sells fresh fish, vegetables, fruits, dried fish, eggs, and many other products at the same prices as those in the public market.
