PNP-PDEA nab 2 in buy bust in Camarines Sur

Philippine National Police (PNP) and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) operatives arrested two persons in an illegal drug buy bust operation at 3:15 p.m. Thursday in Barangay Puro Batia, Libmanan, Camarines Sur. 

The police and anti-drug agents arrested Lyndon Sias, a 51-year-old farmer from Barangay Poblacion, and Ernesto Rocha, a 54-year-old pedicab driver from Barangay Puro Batia.

Authorities confiscated a plastic bag containing suspected shabu weighing around 50 grams with an estimated value of P340,000. 

The joint force brought the two suspects and the confiscated evidence to Libmanan Municipal Police Station. Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 are being prepared against them.
