QC Police seize P6.8M worth of shabu

The Quezon City Police District seized P6.8 million worth of shabu and arrested four suspects in a buy-bust operation yesterday.

Police identified the suspects as Aiden Gray Ombar, 19 years old and Alinor Logum, 22 years old, both from Caloocan City; Jabber Pangandamun, 32 years old, from Novaliches, and Jalalodin Jamal, 21 years old, from Agham Road.

QCPD Director BGen. Ronnie Montejo said the District Intelligence Division of Police Station 4 and Police Station 5 personnel conducted the operation based on gathered intelligence.

A police operative posed as a buyer and bought P300,000 worth of shabu from the suspects around 5 p.m. at Quirino Highway, Brgy. Pasong Putik.

The police also seized from the suspects two cellular phones and a red Honda Civic with plate number UPJ 978.

The suspects will be charged for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 (RA 9165).
